Self acceptance doesn’t happen overnight. It’s been at least a 5 year challenge for myself to finally become happy with who I am and what I look like. Blogs like this have certainly helped!

I thrifted a few dresses today and I snagged this one for eight bucks. I love it so much! It’s little details feature stuff like “eyeball soup”, red lipstick and blood stains. It’s so very me! Me is one happy girly!
After having my hair in a victory roll all day, I effortlessly achieved the Veronica Lake peek-a-boo hairdo. Interesting.

Traveled to Gatlinburg, TN today. The weather was insanely perfect. First true taste of the summer, it was great.
Was bored today and did a little Ice Truck Killer manicure. My Dexter fangirl self is pleased.
I am a size 16 and my biggest body embracement was last Halloween when I went as a Dexter victim. I went out of my comfort zone and wore skin tight plastic wrap (not much else either), so there was no hiding the shape of my body. I was received as the coolest costume that night and it made me so happy. Letting my size fears take over my fun and ideas are out the window. Cheers to being happy with what you got and working it!
